Andycraft Furniture Repair Crayons

AndyCraft Furniture Repair Crayons have been manufactured and marketed since 1984 when we acquired the wax products division of Bostik (Australia) Pty Ltd. Initially called BOSCO repair crayons, there was a small range of standard crayons available from the early seventies, however they had been produced in some form or another since the late twenties, along with a range of leather marking crayons. They were developed to aid in hiding blemishes in timber and laminates and it is a simple process to rub the crayon over the blemish, nail hole or edge of the laminate, and then polish off the excess with a soft cloth.

Manufacturing involves combining pigments and fillers in molten paraffin wax, pouring into cast moulds, cooling, setting, trimming and packing. As AndyCraft furniture repair crayons are manufactured using a paraffin wax base, they will not dry out or crumble over time, therefore reducing wastage.

The colour range covers most popular laminates and melamine’s as well as standard wood-grains with a total of 36 off the shelf colours.
